Mairead's birthday cupcakes

I've been a bit slack uploading photos of my cupcakes lately.

Finally here are the ones I made for my lovely sister-in-law Mairead for her birthday on 27th November. Jaffa cupcakes with orange buttercream frosting and topped with a jaffa and shamrock sprinkles (since she is an Irish lass)

Mairead, the baby bump and my brother all enjoyed them :-)

Hi there,

I read your blog often, and I love your cupcakes!

I've got a query - what is the piping tip you're using to get that lovely ruffle effect?

Cheers,
Amy

Hi amy
So nice to know I have regular readers out there. I use a WIlton 1M star tip (I'm pretty sure thats the number) to get my pretty little ruffles. Once you get the technique right you're sorted.
